Abstract

Soil degradation constitutes the mosr important desertification process. Degradation means reduction or loss of land capacity to produce whatever the people expect from her. This production capacity lost are link, at the mediterranean regions, to the aridity, droughts and many other clirriatics, geomorphologicals and biotics factors, but overall, to the deficient or bad human management of the natural ressource. This is a fundamental reality. Soil and ecosystems degradation constitute the process which worry the most of the geopatology of the semi-arid mediterranean domine. and it could end on the territory desertification. Almost al1 the time, the human being is the started and victim of the soil, water and vegetation vital ressources degradation processes. Only with one sustainable managemeni of renovables naturals ressources, it could be possible to mantain its productivity capacity.
