STRUCTURE AND CHANGES OF THE URBAN SYSTEM OF THE MEDITERRANEAN MIS OF SPAIN
Abstract
In this paper the development of urban growth in the Spanish Mediterranean provincies is analysed, as well as the main reasons for this development. It is being checked out that in this part of the regional territory a set of favourable circumstances that have made possible this fast face of growth and development in the las decenia work together. In the second place an analysis of the urban system is carried out. This system wnsits of various subsystems on a regional base, functioning nearly self subsistant. There are various problems related to the results of this analysis. Fuially I will cope with the stmcturing that is being realised in the Mediterranean urban system, in the wntext of Spain, doing this by refering to the more important deficiencies and problems to be solved to optimalize this urban system.Downloads
