Abstract

During the last years the construction of housings has increased with intensity in Spain, and in a particular way in Murcia. In numerous municipalities of the Region important figures are counted; in general bigger than those of previous years. That activity is becoming a significant section inside the regional economic growth. The causes that motivate such an evolution are numerous and of different nature. They are also analyzed the main space models that are being configured. Likewise the territorial consequences are approached that are derived of it. Its sostenibilidad in the time is complicated of maintaining; at the same time diverse queries open up, with environmental implications of difficult solution.
