DROUGHT, AS A INAVOIDABLE STOP TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE REGION
Abstract
Drought is a phenomenon of nature which beginning and length cannot be easily predicted, as it happens to al1 those connected to Meteorology. That is the reason why is keeps being one of the catastrophic events of nature. However, drought effects can be reduced or even removed through preventive actions in the field of waterway and hydraulic engineering. This solution has been already applied to another event so differently connected to Water Resources such as Flood.Downloads
