THE LABOUR MARKET: DEVELOPMENT, CHANGES AND FUTURE PROSPECTS OF EMPLOYMENT IN SPAIN (1985-1992)
Abstract
The labour market went through a period of unprecedented fluctuation between 1985 and 1992, reflecting the speed of change and substantially modifying its structure. Nearly two million jobs which had been lost during the crisis years were regained but marked by instability as a result of the introduction of temporary contracts which accounted for 70% of new jobs. Thus, this cannot be seen as a process of creating new jobs but rather as one of recovering lost jobs.Downloads
