Abstract

In this work a regionalization of the Spanish part of the Iberian Peninsula according to the number of days with precipitation and the rate of the number of days with precipitation equal or over 10 rnm, following the statistical procedures used by KIKUCHI(1972). is presented. The annual and seasonal analysis of the spatial distribution of the five considered categories tries to be a new contribution to the complete and precise knowledge of the pluviornetric complexity of the Iberian Peninsula.
