DEMOGRAPHIC EXPLOSION AND FOURTH WORLD. THE STRAINED PROJECTION IN KENIA
Abstract
Within a continental context distinguished by the demographic explosión, Black Africa suffers with special cruelty the consequencies of a reality identified with the unfavourable part of the phenomenon, as teh production can't even sastisfy the present necessities. In that geographic compass kenia is found, a country that obviously presents different conditions, even though the demographic explosion is spectacular too. But the economic growth developes before the demographic one, characterised now by one of the highest rates of the continent and even the planet. Because of this, the situation is changing very quinckly for this reason and other varied circumstances: overexploitation of the southwest patr of the country where a large amount of population live together, the quick rise of a few towns which are rapidly congested with people, strong territorial differences with sectors more and ernptied and others overpopulated, etc. And al1 of this comes from a mad growth in geometrical progress, that may provoke in the short run even the appearance of the most typycal problems of the Fouth World, about to stop the national development, even though that demographic volume is still moderate, althoug sufficient because of the scarce economic potencial.Downloads
