Abstract

The article reveals the diversity of regional spaces through the electoral behaviour and also political preferences of Murcians. The analysis is made at polling station leve1 in each of the municipalities which make up the Region of Murcia, and traces the development of electoral behaviour since the 1977 elections. This development reveals the presence of social spaces, at both regional and municipal level. Ultimately, however, given the nature of the sources used and their respective treatment, the article offers only a roung interpretation of the matter. The analysis is of great value for the correlations it makes between this Region and other autonomous communities
