EXTRANJEROS EN ESPANA (11) REFUGIADOS: UNA APROXIMACIÓN AL TEMA
Abstract
Among the foreign inmigrants in Spain. a relevant collective is that of the Refugees, Inrnates, Misfits and Stateless people. As a social problem which deserves attention, it was first noticed in the 1960's. The legal coverage has been concreted and extended until the publication of the Law 51 1984, on 26th of March, "Regulating the Right of Asylurn and the condition of Refugee". As long ago as 1978, with the admission of Spain in the Convention of the United Nations -Geneva 1951 on the Statute of Refugees and the Protocol on the 1967 Statute signed in New York- this country became one of the States that takes in refugees frorn all over the world. The legal, juridical and social aid aspects which regulate this rnatter is what we pretend set forth as an approach to an adequate knowledge of this collective.Downloads
