LA ESTRUCTURA DEL HOGAR COMO REFLEJO DE UNA PRIMERA ETAPA DEL PROCESO MIGRATORIO: EL CASO DE LA CIUDAD DE BARCELONA
Abstract
Migrant household’s structure will inform us of the stage of migration process. Also, this analysis can explain the migratory strategies and the networks developed in a first moment of incorporation. In addition, territorial disparities can inform us of the role of space in the migrant insertion. With this aim, we studied the case of the city of Barcelona. We found a foreign population that presents a complex household structure, related to their recent settlement in the city, where territorial distribution of household structures explain about districts that play the role of city gateway.Downloads
