REGIONAL AUTONOMIC CAPITALS: CENTRALIZATION AND POLARIZATION OF ROAD TRAFIC FLUXES. A CONTRASTED PATTERN
Abstract
The road traffic fluxes leading to the capitals of the new Spanish Autonomic Regions (1978 Regional Division) are analysed. The aim is a good knowlledge of a differentiated pattern of the Spanish Regional organization according to this element. Strong differences amongst different regions are observed, deppending on their demographic or economic importance ot their spatial location. It can be assumed from this the need of some infraestructural work to adequate the road network to the new regional organization.Downloads
