TIPOS DE LAPIAZ EN UN KARST MEDITERRANEO DE MONTAÑA (SIERRA DE SEGURA, JAÉN)
Abstract
The importante of karst processes and landorms in the Baetic Cordilleras have been emphasised by numerous authors. These ranges are very susceptible to karst development. being comprised of essentially calcareous sedimentary rocks. The Sierra de Segura. in the central area of this morphostructure. shaws as an essencial morphological feature the great development of karst landscapes. in which the lapiaces constitute an outstanding feature in their extent and variety. Presented here is an essay on their classification. paying particular attention to the geomorphological characteristics of these forms developed on the karst suface.Downloads
