Abstract

The hydraulic system of Santa Catalina del Monte constitutes an ancient example
of the relationships between the human being and the environment in the Bétic Range
and Mediterranean semiarid climate, revealing the identity and characteristics of human
interventions for the collection, storage and distribution of groundwater and natural spring
water.
