Abstract

This article seeks to know, using the documentary sources and field work, the ways the occupation carried out in the Canarian coast, and to assess the performance, which in order to ensure its integrity and adequate conservation, management performed competently. Addressing a regional analysis of the issue, given the magnitude of the problem was not viable. For this reason, we take as a reference for what is happening at the regional level, the example of the island with the largest number of cases of violation of the law on the coast, the island of La Palma.
