Abstract

Multifunctionality of rural areas could make easy relation between sustainable develo- pment and rural development. In order to check this hypothesis, the sustainability (according to Biffany definitions) of two irrigated terrace state holder (a traditional one and an innovating one). The issues evidence that the lack of direct economic support related to that multifunctionality results in a management focused to productivism.
