Abstract
The territory is a complex, fragile and vulnerable whose tangible and intangible heritage and common natural and cultural, are considered valuable. Changes in economic structures of the municipalities targeted to a service economy based on residential tourism should give special emphasis on all aspects of the landscape and its management, avoiding a distinct evolution of the area and landscaping also different results.
The design of an urban model in line with the identity of a municipality that wishes to be sustainable, environmentally friendly and able to solve the real demand for housing, need to know the state of the housing stock, as well as population structure, preferences , attitudes and intentions of their neighbors.
This paper analyzes the structure of the population of the town of Blanca (Murcia), socio-economic developments and their relationship to the design of the Municipal General Management Plan (PMGO). We are witnessing a decline in agricultural yields parallel the increase in land values, therefore, is pressed onto a fragile and ancient landscape with the proliferation of second homes, mostly illegal, that change in typology and functionality with respect to manor house and typical work of this valley from the garden of Segura. Our actions should aim to protect and preserve the legacy of our ancestors and to design a territorial occupation which does not diminish the quality of an exceptional landscape circumscribed Ricote Valley.
