Percepções de estudantes de enfermagem sobre a administração segura de medicamentos.

Resumo

Objetivo: o objetivo desta revisão foi identificar a percepção dos estudantes de enfermagem sobre a administração segura de medicamentos.
Método: Pesquisa empírica original que descreve um método para incorporar conceitos de segurança na administração de medicamentos no ensino de enfermagem e examinar as percepções de estudantes de enfermagem para sua revisão. Uma busca em quatro bases de dados eletrônicas (Scopus, Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature, MedLine / PubMed e Google Scholar), bem como uma busca manual para identificar pesquisas originais publicadas entre 2017 e 2021. As diretrizes de análise foram adotadas (PRISMA) como o item de relatório preferido para revisões sistemáticas e meta-análises.
Resultados: Doze artigos de pesquisa original foram incluídos para revisão. Dois métodos foram identificados para incorporar a segurança na administração de medicamentos no ensino de enfermagem: fatores ou sistemas de processo no ambiente clínico e fatores educacionais no ambiente acadêmico. O uso de intervenções variou, mas todas focadas na análise das experiências dos alunos para promover habilidades e conhecimentos em diferentes ambientes (acadêmico e clínico).
Conclusão: O educador de enfermagem deve promover experiências teóricas e clínicas de forma abrangente para que o aluno aprenda e internalize as atitudes, comportamentos e valores da profissão com foco na responsabilidade em todos os aspectos. A percepção e o treinamento dos alunos podem gerar mudanças na forma como os medicamentos são administrados, bem como diminuir o índice de eventos adversos no futuro

Biografia Autor

Francisco Miguel Escandell Rico, Universidad de Alicante

Diplomado en Enfermería en 2004 y Máster oficial en Enfermedades Infecciosas y Salud Internacional en la Universidad Miguel Hernández (2016). Doctorado en Ciencias  de la Salud (2021). Además, destacar formación específica en la mejora docente y nuevas tecnologías. También he realizado el Curso de Aptitud Pedagógica (CAP) de la UA (2005) y el grado superior en Dietética y Nutrición (2001).

Desde 2004 hasta el 2020 he trabajado como enfermero en distintos servicios de Atención Especializada (Urgencias, Medicina Interna, Quirófano, Farmacia, Especialidades Médicas, entre otros) y Atención Primaria.  Inicio mi carrera docente en el Departamento de Enfermería de la Universidad de Alicante como profesor ayudante en el año 2020. Actualmente formo parte del grupo GESE (Gestión de Servicios de Enfermería) de la Universidad de Alicante. Mis líneas de trabajo e investigación son la seguridad del paciente, la calidad asistencial y la innovación tecnológica y educativa mediante el uso de herramientas electrónicas (e-health) para el desarrollo de competencias en el ámbito de la gestión y administración de servicios de enfermería.
