TRAINING ENTERPRISING PEOPLE IN NURSING: PROMOTE SOCIOPOLITICAL CAPACITIES AND ATTITUDES
Abstract
This article is built around the experiences of nursing graduate students throughout the course “Labor Market in Nursing and New Ways of Providing Service”, developed through the second semester of 2007. Our proposal was to reach a double goal. First, to analyze and discuss concepts and characteristics related to private and social companies, showing ideas and/or new possibilities for their development in the area of nursing. And, as a second goal, to build a report of experiences based on the discussions that emerged through the “workshops” ideas, in order to stimulate the process of research and promoting of knowledge. This experiment showed that the exercise of teaching focused on active methodologies can be an important way to stimulate new possibilities for the nursing/health care area.Downloads
