STRESS, COPING (ENFRENTAMIENTO) Y SALUD GENERAL DE LOS ENFERMEROS QUE ACTÚAN EN UNIDADES DE TERAPIA INTENSIVA Y PROBLEMAS RENALES.
Abstract
Basado en la teoría sobre estrés y enfrentamiento, este proyecto se propone responder a cuestiones relacionadas con enfermeros que trabajan en unidad de terapia intensiva y problemas renales en un hospital general, evaluando su ambiente de trabajo, su salud y cómo se enfrentan a situaciones estresantes. Forman parte del estudio 27 enfermeros de la unidad de terapia intensiva y 10 enfermeros de la unidad de trasplante renal y hemodiálisis de un hospital universitario. Los resultados muestran que, en general, los enfermeros no consideran el contexto de trabajo como estresante, utilizan mecanismos de enfrentamiento más centrados en el problema que en la emoción y evalúan su salud de forma positiva.Downloads
