INTERVENCIONES DE ENFERMERÍA EN LA PREVENCIÓN DE INFECCIONES DEL ENFERMO ONCOHEMATOLÓGICO.
Abstract
Los enfermos oncohematológicos presentan una característica común, la inmunosupresión. En parte, de nuestros cuidados va a depender que se presenten o no infecciones. El uso de catéteres centrales intravenosos se hace prácticamente imprescindible para la administración de medicamentos, transfusión de hemoderivados, transplantes hemopoyéticos, extracciones sanguíneas frecuentes... Es enfermería la responsable de su mantenimiento y cuidados, debiendo extremar las precauciones para evitar su contaminación. Los cuidados del paciente irán encaminados a mantener en óptimas condiciones la piel y mucosas, asegurar una nutrición adecuada y evitar, en la medida de lo posible, técnicas invasivas.Downloads
