Abstract

The study has by object the action of the symbolic effect of the invention of romaría to túmulo of Anna Nery (AN) for the Brazilian Nursing (1925-1926). We objectify to describe the reasons that gave opportunity to the creation of romaría tumulo of AN; to analyze the invention of romaría as estratégia of perpetuación gives the AN memory and; to discuss to the implications of that tradition invented to the nursing basileña. Metodologia - It is a social historical study. The study used with primary sources iconográficos documents and written. The reading and analyses of iconográficos documents were supported by documents written and articulated to the context in which these documents were producidos."Escragnolle Doria" (1924) with the proposal which túmulo of AN did not know only the coldness marble but outside covered with roses, all the months of May, for the anniversary of their death. The first visit made in 1925 by the "CVB" and after the "Escola de Enfermeiras D. AN" (1926). Final considerations - This tradicón invented, inherited "EEDAN" when it adopted it like institutional pattern, that stayed or more than half century.
