THE NURSE IN THE SCHOOL: EDUCATIVE PRACTICES IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL HEALTH PROMOTION
Abstract
In the XIX century, the school failure appears with the compulsory school education and accessible to every social class. It is the biological way to explain problems arising from social-economics spheres. Thus, the health issue gets introduced in school. Nowadays, it is still noticed that health actions carried out at school are restricted to diseases prevention, creating a healthy individual standard and ignoring children life status. A nurse has a educative and social responsibility to contribute with health promotion. In this sense, this study has identified and analyzed the nurse acting at school, using educative practices in the health promotion for students. This essay has been based on a bibliographic research, analyzing 12 articles of many scientific newspapers; it was noticed that particularly in nurses writing (32.7%). Still in the XXI century it was observed that the actions to prevent diseases prevalence, in stead of the student health promotion.Downloads
