TAKING CARE OF THE CHILD PERSPECTIVE IN A INTERDISCIPLINAR DIMENSION: LITERATURE REVISION
Abstract
Cross section study with a qualitative approach that searches the understanding of the professionals of a pediatric unit of the meaning of taking care from a interdisciplinary view. Instrument used was the semi-structured interview applied to the following professionals: physiotherapists, doctors, nutritionists, psychologists, nurses and occupational therapists, professors who act in the pediatric area. The subjects of this study considered their practice fragmented. They actually report they look for a more integrated approach, but they need to overcome obstacles, mainly cultural, in order to develop in a more explicit and efficient way a methodology that grant a privilege such as excess work, low salaries, hierarchic and bureaucratic power organizations, among others. All this contribute to professionals carry out their function separately and capture individually the dissatisfactions and/or impotency, without contextualize or reflect it in this institutional structureDownloads
