Abstract

Descriptive study on the bibliographic revision of monthly publications on current nursing issues “Role” and “ Nursing” Spanish editions between 1997 and 2000. One of its objectives is to find out if there are publications concerning gerontology and, if there exists any links and contextual relationships between this branch and nursing. The existing data are a proof of this relationship; however, the links between nursing and gerontology are blurred. On the other hand, the contexts, especially those between nursing and the processes of human aging, they seem to be circumscribed mainly by the pathology.
