NURSING CARE PLAN HIV
Abstract
Due to the great step forward in treatments, that improve quality and duration life in patients infected with HIV, and subsequently, the increase in the assisting demand of those patients; it is necessary that nursing professionals work with models and systems that improve the assisting quality we provide. For that reason, we have created a standard plan of specific care for those patients where possible nursing diagnoses are included, as well as, results and interventions. Taking taxonomic criteria NANDA –NIC- NOC, as basis, a plan has been set up. In daily practice, the plan is executed reflecting changes in results and interventions, as well as, the appearance of new diagnoses, if there were, during the stay at the hospital of each patient. In this sense, effectiveness is shown in the nursing activity, patient attitude before interventions and an adequate registration of the whole process. The objective we have is to improve existing registrations and a better flow in communication tasks between health professional and other centers.Downloads
