Analysis of the perceptions of patients regarding the attitudes of a team of nephrology unit
Abstract
The research seeks to analyze perceptions of chronic renal failure patients on hemodialysis in a nephrology unit, referring to team positions in order to encourage them to be as independent as possible and help them cope with kidney disease. Built from the results of a quantitative, descriptive and transversal survey in a nephrology unit of a hospital IV size of northwestern Rio Grande do Sul. The population comprised of 102 patients, 77 agreed to participate. Data collection occurred from May to July 2010. The data collection instruments were characterization data and patients' perceptions regarding the attitudes of team unity. Ethical research was observed with people and data analysis with descriptive statistics and Spermann correlation tests. The majority were (70.01%) men, aged 45.5%, 59.7% married, 87% have children, 42.8% live with a partner, low education, 79.2% retired, 84.4% SUS users. Through the patients' responses demonstrated by the Spermann correlation test, one can say that they see the team in a positive way, which helps in combating the disease, instigates to be independent, with friendship and zealDownloads
