Research Datasets

Global Nursing, on the path toward Open Science, is committed to the deposit of research datasets in line with all policies, mandates, and initiatives that highlight the value of research data, as well as the importance of sharing and reusing it. Any institutional action to this end is significant.
We recommend depositing data obtained from research developed for article preparation in repositories of recognized prestige, discipline-specific or general-purpose. In any case, this repository must comply with the FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) principles, allowing for unhindered access and interoperability, preferably in open access.
There are various repositories designed to store and disseminate specific data such as results from surveys, observations, interviews, simulations, automatically collected data, samples, models, etc. Our journal has a section within the institutional repository of the University of Murcia (DIGITUM) as its own infrastructure for depositing and making this research data public. The authors of the articles must provide them for the editorial committee to deposit prior to publication. There are no restrictions on the placement of these files in other repositories.
The University of Murcia Library has developed a help page for creating and publishing data sets. This guide should be followed for preparing the data sets and submitting them for evaluation along with the original manuscript by our journal.
