ABHINAVAGUPTA E IBN ‘ARABĪ - DIALOGO SOBRE O AMOR FUNDAMENTAL

Abstract

Resumen: Este artículo presenta, de manera sumaria, sincronicidades entre el pensamiento sufí de Ibn ʿArabī y el shivaísmo no-dual de Abhinavagupta a partir de algunos conceptos fundamentales para ambos, como la unicidad entre existencia y conciencia, la perplejidad y el amor como fundamentos de la realidad. Para ello, ponemos a los dos Grandes Maestros en diálogo poético, por un lado, ya que vivieron en épocas distintas, y factual, por otro, a través de sus escritos. Buscamos evocar el aspecto “tántrico” en Ibn ʿArabī y el estado coránico de “Luz sobre Luz” en Abhinavagupta, con el fin de permitir enfoques co-referenciales cruzados que amplíen la comprensión de ambos pensadores.

Abstract: This article provides a summary of the synchronicities between the Sufi thought of Ibn ʿArabī and the non dual Shaivism of Abhinavagupta based on some fundamental concepts for both, such as the unity between existence and consciousness, perplexity, and love as the foundations of reality. To achieve this, we place the two Great Masters in poetic dialogue, on one hand, because they lived in different eras, and factual dialogue, on the other, through their writings. We aim to evoke the "tantric" aspect in Ibn ʿArabī and the Quranic state of "Light upon Light" in Abhinavagupta, in order to allow for cross-referential approaches that expand the understanding of both thinkers.
