Abstract

Study of a small sculpture of a satyr, found at a Roman settlement at Huerta del Paturro (Portmán-Murcia) shows that it was inspired by Late Hellenistic models. It should probably be dated to the second half of the second century or beginning of the third century, correspondig to a time when the enclave attained its zenith.
