Abstract

This paper focuses on the wine production and its structures in Northern Portugal. We emphasize the wine presses carved into the rock, mainly found in the region of Entre Douro-e-Minho, Tras-os-Montes and Beira Alta, associated to the domestic production of wine, in the lands of Lusitania and Gallaecia.
