Abstract

We report the productive structures of two unpublished villae recently discovered in the territory of Valentia. Both production installations are attested from Antonine period. In El Pou de la Sargueta (Riba-roja de Turia) are preserved two production areas, one of them equipped with two screw presses, whose activity persists until midfourth century AD. In the settlement of Rosa Fina (Chiva), it was found a large production complex consisting of four screw presses, some decantation pools and dolia defossa abandoned in the late third century AD.
