Abstract

If we want to face the challenges and to meet the needs of an increasingly multicultural society, one of the main objectives of every school should be the development of a currículum and educational project according to its characteristics and situation. From this point of view, the creation or improvement of this document should be a moment for reflection and making decisions that will benefit the quality of education. lt would mean to integrate intercultural education in aspects of life such as ethnic identity, objectives and curricular and organizational structure. This way, education would base on dialogue, tolerance and pacific coexistence among all members of society, without segregation. Hcnce, this paper presents some possible educational answers to bear in mind when preparing an educational project and a school curriculum that pays attention to ethnic minorities.
