Abstract

Prolongoa hispanica is an Iberian endemic therophyte. In Valladolid province (Spain) pastures on siliceous soils dominated by this species show, on the average, a value of Shannon floristic diversity of H’=1.65 and evenness of J=0.72. Morover, the mediterranean chorological element has risen above 50 %.
