Abstract

Several dragonfly larvae were studied during two annual cycles in the same reach of a first order stream in the semiarid part of the Segura river basin (SE Spain). Analyses of habitat and seasonal segregation in relation to sorne physicochemical environmental parameters help to explain the assemblage of the dragonfly larvae population able of coexisting in a small stretch of a water course.
