Abstract

Astragalus turolensis (Leguminosae) is an hemicryptophyte re- cently found on the calcareous plateous of Valladolid province, and declared as of "Priority Interest" in Castilla y León. An analysis of floristic diversity associated with this species, by using species richness and Shannon index, is shown. A quantitative and qualitative study in non-deteriorated and deteriorated for human or sheep passage ilex-oak woods was carried out. Both strategies are valued. Besides, the comparison with another species, Mibora minima (Gramineae) and Prolongoa hispanica (Compositae), is provided. Moreover, the assessment of systematic, biological and chorological spectra have been added. It is necessary to highlight the higher values of diversity (H’=2.77, J=0.85) and the mediterranean ele- ment (more than 75 %), in the non-deteriorated woods.
