CITAS NUEVAS PARA ESPAÑA DE ESTAFILINOIDEOS, FAMILIA ALEOCHARIDAE. SUBFAMILIA OXYPODINAE (COLEOPTERA: <I>POLYPHAGA</I>)

Abstract

In this paper, the genera Amarochara Thomson, with A. umbrosa (Erichson) and Thiasophila Kraatz, with Th. wockei (Scheider) and the species Oxypoda (Bessopora) annularis (Mannerheim), O. (Baeoglena) paraecox Erichson and O. (Sphenoma) islandica Kraatz, are cited for the first time in Spain (Sierra de Guadarrama). The morphological characters used to distinguish these species from related species are illustrated. Also, the sinoymy between Oxypoda (Bessopora) annularis and O. (Bessopora) steineriana Scheerpeltz is stablish.
