Abstract

This article provides an overview of the educational possibilities of wikis pointing out the fact that they allow the development of group research projects in a socio-constructivist perspective of knowledge. Then, there are two instantiations of its use in university teaching. In one case, the wiki serves the teamwork of students for them to develop a dictionary with the most relevant concepts of the subject. In another example, the wiki is used to develop a personal diary of each student in each of the sessions. It is concluded that the wikis are highly versatile tools and have a high potential for job evaluations in that they provide teachers information about the development process of the tasks performed by the students.
