Abstract

We present the results of research on learning difficulties related to the concept of linear function and its graphical representation. These difficulties have been detected in second year students of Macroeconomics of Economics and Business Administration Degree and the Joint Degree in Law from the last. The research is framed in the theoretical contributions of Duval (1993, 2002). These difficulties are an obstacle to understanding the IS-LM model used for the study of macroeconomics in the short term.
