Abstract

This paper approaches learning based on multimedia from a cognitive perspective. It examines levels of multimedia, wrong ideas about their use, and research taking place in this field. Moreover the author tries to establish the conditions under which multimedia learning is effective, finally giving some practical and theoretical conclusions and perspectives for new research.
