Abstract

Action programs are described as a complement to seminars and workshops for teaching training. In an action program, teachers introduce changes in their own practice, reflect on the experience, share conclusions with colleagues and identify directions for improvement. This paper describes in detail three of the action programs currently being developed at our institution. The evolution of these programs is the result of trainee’s contributions as well as the coordinators’ work. The aim for the paper is to be of some help to those responsible for the development of teaching training programs at universities.
