Abstract

The current text has arisen from the concerns about the way how the introduction of the new frame of competences is introduced in the core of the Spanish HE curricular culture. The basic concern here is both to debate the paradigms that frame the competences model diffused around and to analyze the effects of such diffusion on curriculums and teachers behaviours. The thesis underlining here is that while we confront a relevant proposal, the way in which it can be implemented is highly relevant in producing opposite effects, those of the relevance, or instead, simply a banality.
