Abstract

The University of Alicante has developed a model of professional staff development which consists in organizing collaborative research networks with the aim of analysing their own teaching practice. It implements new methodologies, and articulates the ICTs on the curriculum design. The final goal of the program is to guarantee the students right to have and adequate and effective support on university learning. The Research Networks on university teaching are now working in the curriculum design research, and on enacting new learning models consistent and coherent with de European Higher Education Area.
