Abstract

This paper presents those ordinances Ferdinand an Isabella promulgated in 1500 per- taining to de administration of the Royal Hospital at Seville and thcir further revisión and reformation as starting for the study of this center of assistance. A set of complementary documents analized is devoted to the origin of the hospital, erected briefly after the Castilian conquest, to the posessions it acquired and acumulated, as well as to the services (lodging, nourisment, medical aid, et.). The hospital granted ist benicficiarics and to the identy of those admitted to it
