Abstract

It is not strange to find in medieval codices evidence or practice of writings carried out by the notary or notaries who, throughout the history, included documents in those codices. The XVth century manuscript by Juan de Bondreville is essentially a compilation of buying, selling and census-taking letters for the endowment of St. Dionisio`s Chapel, which is situated in the church Cathedral of Murcia, and which was founded by the archdeacon of Lorca Juan de Bondreville. In those ustody sheets there are those “probationes pennae” carried out by various notaries, some of them contemporary to the codex, and some others subsequent to it, all of whom worked on the copy of the documents which make it up. The present work precisely tackles the analysis and research of the illustrations, sentences, letters and signatures which were written in such place of the manuscript
