Abstract

The importance of cereals as the main food source in the Middle Age made the trades of miller and mill carrier become two of the major trades of the society. The Murcia’s council had to regulate the traffic of the cereal to guarantee the provision of the population and to avoid frauds and robberies. One of those regulations was made in 1426, in order to solve ancient and new problems.
