Abstract

The present paper deals with a particular type of Late Medieval pottery, the large earthenware jar, and its association with domestic contexts. In this sense, the aim is to open a small debate on the real function of this type of containers and their household use, as well as its implications to our understanding of spatial relations within the scope of domestic architecture and its significance.
