Abstract

Documentary counterfeits have happened throughout history for various reasons, mainly political and economic. While there has been in some archives, especially since the nineteenth century, ignorance and documentary paleographic documents have joined or formed documentary records from a historical standpoint, and paleographic meaningless or function. This study shows an example of a fake documentary privilege of Enrique III, and will not address the reason of forgery by not having the means to make a judgment with historical and scientific value but mere speculation, however it is a study of diplomatic, paleographic and sigillographic of this privilege by highlighting it through counterfeiting documentary.
