Abstract

As news in the field of musical creation, we report on a recent publication and recording, that of the new book-album 12 Flores by flamenco guitarist David Leiva, from Almería with roots in Las Tres Villas, today one of the guitar professionals most active flamenco artists in Barcelona in teaching, transcription, composition and directing events around flamenco. With our article, we have carefully read and listened to this book-record to highlight the cultural and sentimental references of the Almería emigration to Catalonia, through the own life experience of the grandparents and parents, whose legacy David Leiva He now passes it on to his children with his short novel and album 12 Flores.
