Abstract

In February 2024 I did an interview on Zoom with Sara Martín to talk about some topics that I research in Flamenco. Sara Martín has been my Flamenco and Stylized Dance teacher for four years, and dance teacher of the Bolera School Style that I recently started. The knowledge Sara Martín has about these different branches of Spanish dance is immense, since in each movement that we learn from her there is a lot of information that is part of that movement and its correct execution. Apart from the technical aspect of the movement that we learn, we also learn about the cultural context of that dance and why it was danced that way in its day.
