Percepción de las enfermeras peruanas sobre el estilo de liderazgo de los coordinadores de Enfermería en un hospital de emergencias

Resumo

Contexto: O trabalho dos enfermeiros é essencial em hospitais, especialmente no contexto de emergências de saúde, onde liderança e motivação são características que devem se destacar entre os profissionais. Método: Desenvolvemos um estudo transversal cujo objetivo foi analisar a percepção da equipe de enfermagem sobre a liderança dos coordenadores de enfermagem em um Hospital Peruano. Avaliamos 85 enfermeiros peruanos que responderam ao questionário breve MLQ (Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire) de 65 itens do formulário 5X. Resultados: Constatamos que 80% dos enfermeiros avaliaram o questionário como regular, seguido por 12,9% como bom e 7,1% como ruim. Com base na pontuação total do MLQ 5X, o maior valor foi encontrado para a liderança transacional (1,19 ± 0,56), seguida pela liderança transformacional (1,10 ± 0,56) e pela liderança corretiva (1,10 ± 0,56). De acordo com as dimensões do MLQ 5X, a maior pontuação foi alcançada em "Gestão Ativa por Exceção-Diretiva-AMED" com 1,24 ± 0,52, enquanto a menor foi obtida em "Laissez-Faire" com 0,92 ± 0,50. Conclusões: A percepção da equipe de enfermagem sobre o estilo de liderança foi predominantemente média. Em relação ao estilo de liderança, observou-se uma percepção mais positiva em relação à liderança transacional, enquanto o estilo "Laissez-Faire" apresentou uma percepção pior entre a equipe de enfermagem.
